Beard Balms and Oils - How are they different and why do I need them?

Beard balms and beard oils are very popular right now. In this post we will explore the whys and when of use.

Beard balms are useful in keeping your beard healthy and styled. Balm can also help with dryness and beard itch, as well as control stray hairs. Beard balm contains oils, butters, and beesway to help hold in moisture and style your beard.

The best time to style your beard abd apply beard balm is after your shower. Your skin is warm and will absorb the butters more quickly.

Apply beard balm on a dry beard, working into the skin first, then the beard, usuing a comb as needed.

Beard oils are a liquid that will help combat dryness and itch, especially when first growing your beard. They are also best applied just out of the shower, but on a dry beard.

Beeswax, as stated above, is used in our beard balm to help hold in moisture and add control. Butters such as shea butter, cocoa butter, and jojoba oil are used to add moisture to the beard and skin. Jojoba skin, in particular, is absorbed very quickly into the skin and beard. Shea butter is also rich in vitamin A, vitamin E and fatty acids.

Argan oil is a carrier oil, basically diluting all the good stuff to appropriate percentages and carrying them to the skin and beard. It will add shine without making the beard oily.

Viamin E is also added because it helps soften the beard and give it a great texture.

Cocoa butter is deply nourishing for skin and beard. There is a reason it is in so many skin care products.

So are beard products right for you? The ingredients have a lot going for them. Be on the lookout for a trial pack to be available soon, so you can see for yourself.
